You need storage in your minimalist home office, but don’t want to compromise on the aesthetic that you worked so hard on. Here are 3 tips to help you out.
Storage In Your Minimalist Home Office
Incorporating storage in a minimalist home office might be tricky but I came up with 3 tips to add spaces for the things you need to need to keep.
These solutions can help inspire you to think of new ways to keep your space looking clean and calm.
This is just my top 3 but feel free to add to it in the comments below.
1. Hidden Storage
Hidden storage is a cool feature any interior-style home can have. My favorite are these book boxes. They look like a regular book just sitting in plain sight. But they have a secret compartment inside of them.
But maybe your storage solution does not have to be a secret. Maybe it’s a Jar or box. You can get creative with what you use.
2. Clean Storage
When incorporating storge you want to make sure whatever you get, that fits in yet isn’t noticed if that’s not your focal point.
You can achieve this by buying items that are “clean”. What this means is that there are no labels, wording, or images on your pieces. The item also has no outstanding textures that make it pop out.
The goal of this option is to make your storage option hidden in plain sight.
3. Storage As Art
On the other end, you can make your storage or the item that needs to be stored the focal point in the room.
You can achieve this by using whatever you collect and displaying them in a cool way. Or if you happen to have a lot of something that you don’t want to size down on. This could work for almost anything. The key is to have 3 or more of this item.
